Despite studying abroad, she focused her research on political and legal rights within the United States. Her dissertation centered on the continued need for the unratified Equal Rights Amendment.
Outside of work, Indira loves enjoys reading, spending time with her three dogs, and cooking. She is also a youth premier soccer coach, advocating for increased female participation in sports within her community.
