mctlaw Welcomes Two Attorneys to Its Vaccine Injury Team
mctlaw proudly announces the addition of attorneys Chellis Garcia and Haroun Rahimi to the firm’s Vaccine Injury team. Both Ms. Garcia and Mr. Rahimi come to mctlaw with impressive legal backgrounds, and will focus their practices on vaccine injury litigation.
Attorney Chellis Garcia
Ms. Garcia is an experienced attorney with an extremely diverse background in litigation. She is known for her work in patent and intellectual property law while at Venable LLP, and she later served as Assistant General Counsel for IP litigation at AOL. During her time at AOL, Ms. Garcia managed all patent litigation while leading her own team and working with stakeholders and executives.
Ms. Garcia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and graduated with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She is licensed to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Attorney Haroun Rahimi
Mr. Rahimi comes to the firm with extensive experience in business law, international regulations, and conflict resolution. He earned a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Washington School of Law, where he received the 2018 Outstanding Dissertation Award. He also holds a Master of Laws degree in Global Business Law. Mr. Rahimi is licensed to practice in New York, Washington State, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Before joining mctlaw, Mr. Rahimi worked in legal education, government consulting, and international law reform. He has taught law, mentored young attorneys, and worked with global organizations to improve legal systems.
